Sandwell Stride
Sandwell Stride Health walks are a great way to improve your health, meet people and get some fresh air.
The walks take place right across the borough, and last between 30
minutes to 1 hour.
Walking for 30 minutes a day for 5 days a week can reduce the risk of
getting serious disease such as Heart Disease, Stroke and Diabetes by up to 50%. They are also a really good way to improve your mental health.
It is also a great way to get some fresh air and meet new friends: most of the walks have the opportunity for a cup of tea and a chat afterwards.
Most of the walks are free, and with walks in all parts of Sandwell, you are guaranteed to have one near to you.
